Meet Our Therapy Dog - Koda

Hi there! My name is Koda — my dad says it means “little bear,” and I think it suits me paw-fectly. I’m mostly Husky with a sprinkle of Malamute, which means I’m fluffy, expressive, and full of personality.
I have a fun mix of traits: sometimes I’m calm and quiet like a Malamute… but most of the time I’m full of energy, excitement, and happy wiggles like a true Husky. I love meeting new people, exploring new smells, and giving my big friendly smile to anyone who walks into the room. I promise I’m fur-iendly !
As a therapy dog, my special job is to bring joy, warmth, and a sense of safety to children, teens, and adults at Affirmative Minds Psychology. Whether I’m lying quietly beside you, offering a soft paw, or making you laugh with my silly husky expressions, I’m here to help you feel grounded, supported, and never alone.
I can’t wait to meet you and be your big fluffy friend on your therapy journey. 🐾
Please note: I may not be available for every session. My dad makes sure my wellbeing and mental health are protected so I can be my best, happiest self when I’m here.
